We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired Word of God.
“Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action), So that the man of God may be complete and proficient, well fitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.” [II Timothy 3:16-17 AMP]
We believe in the eternal Godhead in three persons who is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
“And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].” [Colossians 2:10 AMP]
We believe in Jesus the Christ deity as the Son of God; virgin birth; miracles; rebirth and salvation through His shed Blood; death, resurrection; His ascension to Heaven and return to Earth.
- “Everyone who believes…that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah) is a born-again child of God; and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of Him (His offspring).” [I John 5:5 AMP]
- "And listen! You will become pregnant and will give birth to a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus. 32 He will be great (eminent) and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give to Him the throne of His forefather David, 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob throughout the ages; and of His reign there will be no end.34 And Mary said to the angel, How can this be, since I have no [intimacy with any man as a] husband?” [Luke 1:31-34 AMP]
- “This, the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory [by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly], and His disciples believed in Him [adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him].” [John 2:11 AMP] also see John 9:16, 20:20; Mark 6:14
- “[In fact] under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood, and without the shedding of blood there is neither release from sin and its guilt nor the remission of the due and merited punishment for sins.” [Hebrews 9:22 AMP] also see Hebrews 10:18 and Luke 1:77
- “Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.” [John 3:3 AMP] also see Matthew 5:6, 10; Gal. 4:31; Phil. 4:21; I Peter 1:3, 23
- “For he was a good man [good in himself and also at once for the good and the advantage of other people], full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit and full of faith (of his belief that Jesus is the Messiah, through Whom we obtain eternal salvation). And a large company was added to the Lord.” [Acts 11:24 AMP] also see Acts 8:37, 13:26, 14:27 & 15:9; I Cor. 1:30; Eph. 3:9; Phil. 4:7
- “Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” [Romans 10:9 AMP]
- “Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.” [Romans 5:9 AMP] also see Romans 5:10
- “And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come; see the place where the Lord lay. [Matthew 28:5-6 KJV]
- “So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.” [Mark 16:19 KJV]
- “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” [Matthew 25:13 KJV]
- "Don't be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father's home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly. When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am." [John 14:1-4 NLT]
We believe in water baptism, in the Lord Jesus Christ to be performed by immersion, which attest to Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection symbolizing new life in Him.
- “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [Matthew 28:19 KJV]
- “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” [Romans 6:4 KJV]
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as on the day of Pentecost, His gifts and ministry.
- “And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the Spirit [a]kept giving them clear and loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words].” [Acts 2:4 AMP]
- “For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.” [I Cor. 12:8-11 KJV]
- “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” [John 16:13 KJV]
